Welcome to the Partiokannus website!

Partiokannus is a Vantaa area wide organization of the Finnish Scouts. All Vantaa area scout troops are welcome to join the organization. The purpose of Partiokannus is supporting the Vantaa troops and developing scouting in the area. Partiokannus organizes various activities and training based on the needs of the troops, maintains contacs with supportive organizations and advances the Vantaa wide scouting collaboration.

Partiokannus was formed as the result of collaborative meetings between the various Vantaa troops being held since 1966. It became an officially registered organization on April 24, 1971.

Partiokannus sees to the rights of the Vantaa troops. The operations of Partiokannus include active area wide work as well as communication with troops and supportive organizations both within and outside the scouting community. Partiokannus also arranges various training, competition and international events as well as other activities. Activities are focused on the target groups of cub scouts, adventurers, trackers, explorers, rovers and adult scouts.
